I can’t say enough about Here & Now Fitness and Coach Tom Fleck.  An endurance sport enthusiast for over a decade, I’ve been fortunate to have worked with various coaches and training programs, including large national programs, mid-sized and smaller, individual coaches.  While I’ve benefitted to some degree from each of them, H&N Fitness with Coach Tom is vastly superior. Here’s why:

1.  Custom and Complete Programs. No cookie cutter workout plans with Coach Tom.  He develops custom plans for each athlete, tailored to your needs and goals. You receive regular updates and feedback, often based on individual workouts and custom adjustments based on your personal schedule. Programs include workouts and strength, stretching and nutritional recommendations. My plan is unique and customized for me, based on my own schedule and availability.   

2.  Deep Knowledge Base. Coach Tom is a fountain of training information and knowledge, certified in multiple disciplines and experienced with biking, running, swimming and vegetarian/vegan foods. Coach Tom regularly works with other nutritional experts and specialists (e.g., Zoom calls with nutritional experts from UCAN).  

3.  Positive & Passionate. This might be Coach Tom’s greatest strength. He loves endurance sports and is passionate about all aspects of training, conditioning and racing. Coach Tom pushes his athletes hard — his workouts are as tough as any I’ve done under any coach. He also understands the mental aspect of endurance, preaching and helping to build and maintain an optimal mindset for training and racing. Coach Tom is accessible to a range of athletes, bringing anyone who is interested in fitness goals into the fold.

4.  Results. At 51, age isn’t on my side. Training under Coach Tom for the past two years, I’ve found speed and endurance that I never realized I had and improved my times in races of all distances from sprint tris to 50 mile Ultras. Coach Tom has extended my endurance career and made me far more competitive with podium finishes and World Rankings.
